AARP’s latest video series was developed to help people save money on health care in retirement, with help from the teams at PLDG and Optum. Each tells a different story, but with a similar twist.
PLDG Senior Art Director Heather Laubach, who oversaw production, shares the creative challenges of incorporating the concept of “magic” and saving for health care. Through a collaboration with Picture Machine Productions, the magic was brought to life using practical effects of exploding powder and glitter in lieu of traditional title cards.
